For our 7th consecutive year, Interwork’s annual charity golf tournament raised money to support Silver Creek Special Needs Pre School. Silver Creek’s mission is to provide positive and therapeutic services including physio, occupational, speech & language, and music therapy to children with and without physical and developmental challenges. With the help of our technology partners and customers, Interwork helped raise a total of $28,793.51 to support the school’s initiatives. We would like to thank our sponsors who made this all possible – Trend Micro, WatchGuard, Blackberry, Micro Focus, Acronis, Quartet Service, and Entrust Datacard.

“We are proud supporters of Silver Creek’s mission of enabling children of all abilities through education, interactive play, and enablement technology. Special thanks to our sponsors, customers, and employees who share our belief in providing Silver Creek children with the best combination of resources for their growth and development” said Joe Graci, President & GM of Interwork.

Silver Creek’s goal throughout it’s 40-year history has always been to provide integrated therapeutic services and early learning experiences for children so that they are able to acquire the skills that will help them to be successful in a more mainstream community environment. This non-profit school provides an inclusive safe environment for children to learn, grow, and play together.

“On behalf of the children and the Silver Creek team, we’d like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude for the continued support of Interwork, along with its generous sponsors and supporters, this support continues to make a difference for all of our children.” said Irena Setnik, Executive Director of Silver Creek Pre-School.

The money raised from this year’s golf tournament will support the purchase of therapeutic equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, communication devices and adapted toys. Additionally, these funds support Silver Creek’s transportation program for children who would otherwise not have the ability to travel from home to school. Every dollar raised goes straight to the children and their families.

Sincerely,
Joe Graci
