Interwork Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and driven Technical Sales Manager who is looking to develop and grow professionally in today’s challenging IT Security industry. As a key member of the North American sales team, the TSM will work with our top software security vendors who are a leaders in the Gartner Magic Quadrant to deliver innovative and advanced security solutions to our channel partners. The main functions of the TSM will be to combine technical knowledge & sales skills to drive business development in conjunction with our vendor partners and Channel Account Managers. They will be responsible for developing existing & new potential customers by working with Interwork’s Channel Account Manager team in prospecting, identifying, qualifying and educating on how our Vendor solutions meet & exceed their customers’ requirements. This position will be located at our headquarters in Buffalo, NY.

- High-energy, self-motivated individual with outstanding professional, sales, and technical capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and negotiation skills
- 5+ years of field sales experience, preferably enterprise-class software and services into IT departments.
- College Degree or equivalent experience
- IT Security Designation & vendor certificates is a plus
- Hands on knowledge of IT Security related products and technologies (e.g., Network Security, Virtualization, Identity & Access Management, etc…)
- Up to 10% travel required
